Course Description →

This 7.5-hour course will explore the prescription of exercise and movement from different angles and perspectives, becoming comfortable in its vastness and learning many simple ways to apply it in practice.

The course is designed for musculoskeletal clinicians of all levels of experience who are keen on becoming more confident and competent in helping arm people with self-management skills. This concept of self-management is an integral part of modern, person-centred care (Hutting et al., 2022).

Here is a small sampling of the questions the course looks to answer:

> Is it okay to feel pain when performing movements and exercises? If so, how much pain?

> Is it okay for people to feel pain after performing movements and exercises? If so, for how long after?

> When do biomechanics matter? If so, how much do they matter?

> Why do we get injured/inflamed?

> Are there optimal exercises for certain conditions such as low back pain, Osteoarthritis, Tendinopathy?

You will take away information and skills from this course that you will be able to immediately incorporate into your clinical practice to the benefit of your patients!

Note – This course consists of ~60% of the material from my live, flagship course: Exercise & Movement Rx – in – Modern Clinical Practice.
